29. Leota Mingee
She and her husband died in a house fire 12-12-1980.
Obit: "Born January 19, 1917 in Illinois, Leota Connor was the daughterof William L. Mingee and Gertrude (Martin) Mingee. She is survived bytwo sisters Mary R. Taylor of Attica, Ind. and Emily Marie Rice,Bloomington. Three brothers: Woodrow W. Mingee, Leland R. Mingee, andHerman L. Mingee, Florida. She was preceded in death by three brothers.Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Green and Harrell funeral home inBloomington with Rev. Michael Douglas officiating. Burial will follow inthe Cloverdale Cemetery at Hrrodsburg..."

"Nobel Conner and Leota Conner Obit. Nobil Connor, 73, and Leota Connor,64, 627 N. Adams St, died Friday morning as the result of a fire at theirresidence. Born 12 February 1915 in Monroe Co, Nobel Connor was the sonof William A. and Eliza (Ray) Connor. A retired stone mason he issurvived by one daughter Mrs. Ruby Kinser, Bloomington; one sister, Mrs.Ivy Sherlock, Bloomington; one half-sister, Mrs. Benlab Robinson,Bloomington; one brother, Opal Connor, Bloomington; and two grandsons."

15. Alexander Mingee
Alexander's youngest son, Kenneth said his dad's death was a "mystery tome, some say he died of a heart attack. Some say he died of blood poisonresulting from stepping on a nail. I don't know."
Kenneth thought that his grandparents (on both sides) were all buried inIndianola, Illinois (close to Sidell, Illinois)
Kenneth knew his father had "some brothers and sisters, but I don't haveany information on them, but his brother had a fairly large family. Iknow of three children: Bob, Victor and Harley (Mingee)
Kenneth said Alexander died in Riola, Illinois
From Kay McCabe: "In Dora McNeese's Bible there was an imprint whichwent through the page to the inside cover with names being listed. Thefirst name on the list was Alexander O. Mingee..."
Imogene had death date as 1908.
Dora's youngest son, Kenneth Mingee, said she died of an asthma attack.
Kenneth said he remembers his mother's sisters' names were: Anna,Katherine, and Mary. Knew one brother was Louis. Thought she had 3brothers and 3 sisters.
Kenneth gave me a picture of her with the birth date on the back of1864. He also said she was born in Vermilion Co, Illinois.
On Marriage Certificate spelled Dora McNeise.
